Cryptr ... encryption Mac style
Written in Cocoa/ObjC and build on top of OpenSSL using the SSCrypto Framework, Cryptr provides an easy and industrial strength way to encrypt single files using the AES cipher at 128Bit.
Simply Drag your files on the Cryptr Dock Icon or Window, enter a Password and hit Encrypt. Cryptr will output an encrypted file in the same directory as the unencrypted file. To decrypt simply double click the encrypted file, enter the password and hit decrypt. It's that easy! To be even more secure Cryptr can automatically delete the Original, after the encryption, be sure to remember your password so, because there is NO recovery. See the Preferences for the Option. For those of you with a cluttered Dock Cryptr also Provides the Option to run as a Menubar Item in the Preferences, with everything accessible all the Time! And Cryptr now also supports Growl, so no need to keep watching the Indicator spin to see when its done.
